Review: No-Tech Hacking

September 4, 2007

Recently I came across a blog wich was giving away DefCon 15 videos. I watched some, and one video was really great: “No-Tech Hacking” by Johnny Long. Funny presentation with real world examples how to gather information, as example by shoulder-surfing, the jedi wave, hotel hacking and the modern trojan horse.

In germany it’s pretty loud about monitoring userdata (such as telephon, mail) and  investigation via secret online search. Now, how funny is that: “Targeted trojan attacks against German government” (F-Secure [SEO my ass, you remember? :D]).

That’s embarrassing, tricked by the lowest social engineer method, documents and presentations that can run macros. I can’t believe there is no verification at such high instance. Anyway, my fear about the mighty government drops…

So after very long time of inactivity cyneox get’s kicked out from the rRlf. We didn’t saw him on IRC nor he answered mails. So good bye and best wishes from us.

Recently I watched the movie “Zeitgeist” wich you can find on VideoGoogle. It is a really well done film and a must see if you are interested in myth, conspiracy and false politics.

In the first part you see how religion is based on astrology. Jesus is just based on the sun. You also see the parallels to other religions back to egyptians. “Fraud of the age.

The second part is about 9/11, the terror attack is presented as myth. And until there are not enough answers what really happend it’s nothing more than that. No deeper research here like in other 9/11 conspiracy films. Just presenting questions wich has to be answered, why people heared multiple explosions, how can 1, 2 and 7 collapse duo fire and where are the planes from Pentagon and Shanksville.

Finally the third part is about the money system in the states. A few bankers control the money and the debt. To make profit a tool for the bankers is war. They were interested to enter the Worldwar 1 & 2, the Vietnam war and today the War On Terror, Iraq/Afghanistan. Another theme is that mass-media is used to keep citizens entertained, so they don’t do “too much thinking“.

Anyway, I don’t live in america, so why would I mind right?! I am a free citizen, but how long? Maybe we are all already in slavery, nobody knows what “they” have planned for the future of the world. Fight it, inform yourself, “your life has value god damn”.

It usually ends in chaosWas the theme of philies birthday party. And yes, it ended in chaos :). It was a kewl party, much much beer and liquor. Sunday was a little bit aftermath, we all (philie, his girlfriend and me) were tired as hell, anyway we moshed the go-cart track. The only two things missing this year was SPTH and the k80. Anyway, thanks to philie for his hospitality!

I am off, I need some sleep.

Visitor Count x 3Holy fuck, after yesterdays post about F-Secure the visitor count got tripled. SEO my ass :)

I am off to philie now, it’s the next rRlf meeting aka his birthday. Gonna be a kewl weekend, you will read about it here as soon as my brain works again.

AV business is boring?

Seem’s so for a duude :) at F-Secure who wrote a program to solve a “Hamster Cube” instead of working. That must be a great job, playing with scary (haha) hamsters, code nonsense programs and chilling around (I guess). Anyway, when I have nothing to do at work I don’t blog about it…
