New law on ‘cybercrime’

August 14, 2007

Last sunday the new ‘anti-hacking law‘ takes place here in germany. But what did that mean for german VXers (and also in the EU)? As it’s now illegal to distributing ‘tools’ that could be used to do a cybercrime, I will never again give away binaries (wich I already decided in september 2006). I don’t know how source code is handled, but since plain text can’t be used to do crime I think this will not count as tools, hopefully. Anyway, I just have an eye that I don’t release anything on servers in the EU. Let’s see and hope they don’t take down people doing security research for fun and job but the criminals.

Your writing style has been surprised me. Thanks, quite

  2. Hi colleagues, how is the whole thing, and what you desire to
say concerning this paragraph, in my view its in fact remarkable in favor of me.
